Nails

The jewels in this collection come from real old nails, which I found in various parts of Italy, which I bent with blacksmith tools to essentially create the iron prototypes with which I obtained the molds from which these solid silver lost-wax castings come.

The beautiful thing about this process is that every single blow of the blacksmith's hammer and every single irregularity left by time have been transferred into the silver copy.
