1.20 ct drop cut Iolite

A beautiful Iolite gemstone, faceted in a pear shape. The cut has good proportions, and the color is a violet with blue hues, well saturated. Some inclusions are typical of this mineral species. Pleochroism is clearly visible when the stone is oriented in various directions; the cutter oriented the rough so that the best color is visible from the gemstone's table.
