"Medieval" ring with 7 cabochon rubies around

I have always been fascinated by medieval rings when faceted stones were rare and rings had this soft shape given by the lost wax process with which the settings were cast, every now and then I enjoy creating something in this style 😊

This ring is a lost wax casting in 925 silver with 7 natural cabochon Rubies (treated to intensify their colour and transparency). The stones are set using the "battuto" technique as was used in the past.
