"Vivid" - Hollow Bezel Ring - Portable Mini Silver Garden ✨
From the outside it looks like a signet ring, but the top is spherical, hollow and perforated: a small container for moss and micro-plants!
Even the stem is "special"; I created a flat surface at the base so it can stand on its own. Yes, that's right: this ring sits upright on any surface... becoming a mini Zen garden on your desk.
I wanted to experiment with the idea of carrying a fragment of nature with you at all times, transforming the ring into a small living ecosystem. It's an idea I've had for a long time, and, as my followers know, it's seen countless, very complicated attempts. I decided to revisit the issue, starting with the simplest idea. What do you think?
I put some moss in it, and when you water it… it smells of damp, silent undergrowth.
The openings at the top allow the plant to breathe, grow and make room for itself, as it would between rocks.
This ring is entirely handmade, to order. It takes a couple of weeks to make, more or less. For any customizations or questions, please contact me.
