"Climbing" Band with Square Cut Garnet

Solid silver ring, made with lost wax casting .
The metal bands intertwine and wrap around each other, creating a continuous knot that wraps around the finger, with solids and voids that let the light pass through.

At the centre is a square-cut garnet , rotated into a diamond and set in a small geometric frame, from which a metal curl starts that caresses it and locks it in place.
The red of the garnet stands out against the shiny metal: it looks like a lit chop set in a ring that is halfway between organic and symbolic.

It is a compact, important piece, but very wearable every day, unisex without problems.
